Xero Integration Guide

Welcome to Hubtiger's Xero Integration Guide!

Our integration with your Xero account is straightforward and powerful. We offer four core features:

  • Customer Sync: Automatically sync your Xero customers into Hubtiger, so all your existing customers are ready when you need them.
  • Item Sync: Sync all your Xero items into Hubtiger, ensuring your products are available during the Service Job Cards process.
  • Automated Invoicing: The "Send to POS" button on your Service Job Cards generates a detailed invoice in Xero automatically.
  • Invoice Updates: If you update a Service Job Card, you can click the "Send to POS" button at any time to update the invoice details in your Xero account.

Once you’re connected, you can sit back and let our sync processes and features handle the rest!

Getting started

1.   Once you’ve signed into Hubtiger, use the navigation side bar and click on “Settings”:

2.   Once you are inside the Settings page, inside the “General” section, click on the “POS Integration” option:

3.   Click on the Xero icon to start your Xero connection process if you are not yet connected:

4.   Click on the “Connect to Xero” button to start the connection process:

5.   You should now see the “Log in to Xero” popup, enter your Xero account details and complete the process as needed. Remember to give Hubtiger access when prompted during the flow.

Once you’ve given Hubtiger access, you should see this page, just give it a moment to process:

6.   On Hubtiger you should now see a success message if you are successfully connected to your Xero account or an error message if something went wrong. If you see this screen, you’re Xero account is now connected and ready!

7.   Go ahead and close the modal. Your POS integration page will refresh and you should now see a message saying your shop is currently connected to Xero with a disconnect button:

Disconnecting: If you wish to disconnect Hubtiger from your Xero account(this means we won’t be able to use or integrate with it further at all) just click on the “Disconnect POS” button.

Important: the organization you used during the sign in flow in step 5 will be the default organization Hubtiger’s features integrate with.


FAQ

  • How do I disconnect from Xero?

    Sign in to Hubtiger and navigate to Settings > POS Integration. If your shop is connected to Xero, you will see a "Disconnect from Xero" button, like in the example below:


  • What doesn’t your integration do?

    Our Xero integration focuses on syncing customers, products, and automatically generating and updating invoices.


  • How do I reconcile sales data synced to Xero?

    Once your Service Job Cards are sent to Xero using the "Send to POS" button, you should see the same details from the Service Job Cards reflected in Xero. Hubtiger will generate and update the invoice based on the Service Job Card information.


  • When and how does data sync occur?

    Data syncs are performed automatically once you have successfully connected. You can also manually request a sync by clicking the sync icon in the top navigation bar:
